It is our job as Early Childhood educators to inspire and nurture the inquisitive mind in every child, we achieve this from the Environment we create and the questions we ask. The children are at the centre of everything and in this calm, tranquil and stimulating environment children are forever exploring, tinkering, investigating and learning with the support of nurturing, loving staff.
Clever Clogs operate a Key Person System, and all of our children have a Key person, who is a Qualified Childcare Practitioner, to oversee the care and development of each child’s individual needs.

Our childcare practitioners will support children’s learning and development by providing an environment rich in experiences and opportunities to meet their individual needs, participating in and extending their play in ways which best facilitate their learning.

Your child’s progress
We use an app to update you daily and track your children’s development food diary’s etc. This can be sent instantly to parents we also have a daily news feed so that parents can see what children do on a daily basis parents and staff can also send daily messages, so information sharing is a lot easier.
In the moment planning
Learning happens when children are interested and motivated, at Clever Clogs we allow the children to discover their environment through hands-on experiences, developing through their own learning styles in their own time and at their own pace.
We facilitate that learning by observing, listening and supporting the children, enabling them to see the connections in learning and experiences.
We are aware of the importance of here and now when responding to the children’s needs, as opposed to waiting until tomorrow or next week when planning a child’s next steps.
